"Palestinian prisoners and detainees report abuse and mistreatment in Israeli prisons"
Of course, for THAT, the word of Hamas members is enough, and obvious issues are ignored, the videos of the release, pretty fat men jumping out of buses, is not mentioned. Plus one of the men obviously had recent dental work done:
Also of note is that Israel has punished at least one member of the security services with jail time for abuse (based on the word of prisoners, with his colleagues also testifying against him)
At least the BBC mentions that Hamas is not done committing warcrimes, but now Hamas is once again able to massacre Palestinians, immediately. Other sources say at least 33 people have been killed, most are part of a single family. (doesn't that qualify as a genocide under UN rules?)
You seem to think there would be uniform treatment of hostages. Women were sexually assaulted more than men. Babies were strangled. There is real forensic evidence that’s been made public about the conditions of recovered corpses. It may be true that some of the 251 hostages were treated better than others. It does not make your statement true.
> Some will "recount" anything that helps the genocidal narrative
Yes. Quite.
Both sides of this conflict had genocidal maniacs at the helm. One had more capability and thus more effect. But neither had none, either in ability to cause violence or black-and-white foreign supporters who refuse to see their side’s demons.

The UN, not a great champion of Isreal, found compelling evidence of abuse.
The hostage mentions in the article how he was moved to be used as a "human shield " by Hamas...
Only thing on the BBC site:

But we know from other released hostages that this wasn't the case.
