I see that they are interested in doing it in m'Penh and I guess it would be useful there. Cambodia and Thailand's urban areas get terrible air quality. My layman's understanding on this is that 1. many rural ethnic minority nations in SEA practices slash-and-burn agriculture. 2. Bangkok lies by a bay, whereas m'Penh is inland, and most other urban areas lie in a river valley running North-South; 3. Trade winds blow transverse to these valleys in the region. So for these reasons, pollution is generated in excess; pollution tends to get trapped in the valleys; and winds don't blow them away.
